1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Analytics Data

When you browse Kairooo without signing in, we do not collect any personally identifiable information. The only data collected is anonymous analytics data through the third-party services described in Section 2 below.

Account Information (Optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the following information from your Google account: your display name, email address, and profile photo URL. This information is stored in Firebase Authentication (operated by Google) and is used solely to identify you within the app and enable personalized features like saving events.

We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google account data beyond the basic profile information listed above.

Saved Events & Venues

If you sign in and save events or venues, we store your saved item references (event and venue IDs, timestamps) in Cloud Firestore (operated by Google). This data is linked to your account and is used solely to display your saved items. We do not share your saved items with other users or third parties. You can unsave items at any time, and all saved data is deleted when your account is deleted.

2. Analytics & Cookies

We use the following analytics services to understand how visitors use Kairooo and to improve the experience:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — Collects anonymous usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general location (country/city level). Loaded via Google Tag Manager. Google may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors.
• Microsoft Clarity — Records anonymous session replays and heatmaps to help us understand how visitors interact with pages. No personal data is collected.
• Vercel Analytics — Collects anonymous page view and visitor data. Privacy-focused with no cookies.
• Vercel Speed Insights — Measures page performance metrics (loading times, responsiveness). No personal data is collected.
• Amplitude — Tracks anonymous product usage patterns to help us understand which features are most useful. No personal data is collected.

These services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to browse events on Kairooo.

3. Third-Party Links

Kairooo contains links to external websites including ticket platforms, venue websites, and social media pages. When you click these links, you leave Kairooo and are subject to the privacy policies of those websites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

4. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained by the respective third-party providers according to their own retention policies:

• Google Analytics: 14 months (default)
• Microsoft Clarity: 30 days
• Vercel Analytics: 30 days

If you sign in with Google, your account information (name, email, profile photo URL) is stored in Firebase Authentication for as long as your account exists. Saved events and venues are stored in Cloud Firestore for as long as your account exists. You can unsave items at any time, or sign out to stop syncing. To request deletion of all your account data including saved items, contact us through our Contact page.

5. Children's Privacy

Kairooo is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we do not collect personal information from any user, this applies equally to all visitors.

6. Your Rights

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by:

• Disabling cookies in your browser settings
• Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
• Using a browser with built-in tracking protection

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
