Mazaher Ensemble (Zar)

Zar is one of the few musical forms in which women take a leading role.
Its artistic importance lies in the fact that it has lived largely isolated from processes of influence and exchange, due to social and state marginalization, thus preserving its original structure, which may date back to ancient Egyptian times.
Zar extends across the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen, the Gulf region, Iraq, and Iran.
In Egypt, Zar is divided into three types: the Masri (Upper Egyptian) Zar, Abu El Gheit Zar, and the Sudanese (African) Zar.

First Concert – Wednesday 8:30 pm

Ticket price: 300 EGP including all taxes and fees
until full capacity

1- Advance reservation is required at least one day before via WhatsApp
2- Doors open for reserved tickets at 7:30 pm for first concert & at 9:15 pm for second concert
3- Reservations are released at 7:50 pm for first concert & at 9:35 pm for second concert
4- Waiting list entry starts once reservations are released
