Al Multaqa Orchestra

The AlMultaqa Orchestra brings together a remarkable group of musicians who create a groundbreaking sound uniting Sudanese Afro-Arab traditions with contemporary influences.

Their music blends the oud from the Middle East, with its soulful and expressive tone; the kora from Mali, shimmering with bright and intricate melodies; and the adungo from Uganda and South Sudan, glowing with rhythmic clarity.

These ancestral voices are carried by the driving energy of Afro percussions, the warm, layered tones of the balafon, and the powerful pulse of the drums.

resonance of the acoustic guitar.
